Anon - Of course there are plenty of other ways in which this money can be used, and I don't dispute that each is as important as the other. Animal welfare, however, is my personal charity because it's a cause close to my heart. I'm sure there will be others out there who may do similar projects for people-related causes too.
P.S. - I don't make distinctions between humans and animals either. A life is a life, and each is as deserving as the other of our kindness and concern.
Sigma - Well...um... the thing is we're closing orders on the 6th, and then going out to buy ingredients and make the stuff on the 13th, to be delivered on the 14th. If we have too many orders for one day we'll do a second batch on the 21st. So the thing is... nothing will be made on the 6th, since we want the whole stock to be fresh. :( I'm really sorry....

I am completely in agreement with you: life is life. You deserve kudos for what you're doing! If we waited until all humans were sorted out before we cared for animals, the animals would be suffering into infinity...
